China Changjiang Medical Forum -- 2021 Annual Conference of Anesthesiology and the 26th Academic Conference of Anesthesiology in Jiangsu Province was held in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province from April 9 to 11, 2021.

This conference is the most influential academic conference in the field of anesthesiology in Jiangsu Province. More than 1000 experts and anesthesiologists from inside and outside the province attended this event. The conference was sponsored by Jiangsu Medical Association, Jiangsu Medical Association Anesthesiology Branch, and co-organized by Lianyungang Medical Association, Gulou Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University School of Medicine and Lianyungang First People's Hospital.

The theme of this conference is "Strengthening and improving the ability of anesthesiology medical services, improving the connotation construction and medical level of anesthesiology". This conference will exchange the frontier progress of anesthesiology and related disciplines, discuss the problems and challenges in the development of anesthesiology under the new situation, and provide a platform for exchanges and cooperation for anesthesiology practitioners. The meeting invited Professor Huang Yuguang, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology and Director of the Department of Anesthesiology of Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Professor Xiong Lize, former Chairman of the Chinese Society of Anesthesiology and President of Shanghai Fourth Hospital, Professor Deng Xiaoming, Chairman designate of the Chinese Anesthesiology Society, Professor Yu Buwei, President of the Anesthesiology Society of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and other famous anesthesiology experts in China gave special academic lectures.

The conference set up a main venue and 19 sub-venues, covering anesthesia discipline construction, anesthesia quality management, talent training, the conference also set up ultrasound, airway workshop, young physicians case speech competition, young paper competition, sonodynamic anesthesia ultrasonic skills competition and simulation teaching case competition, aimed at exploring the problems facing the medical treatment, teaching and scientific research of anesthesia.
